EPC P7100 Hyper Camshaft β Cummins 12V Performance
Built for hot street and strip performance. Engineered for a more aggressive injection event.
The EPC P7100 Hyper Camshaft is designed for Cummins 12V performance builds looking to increase injection rate and support greater fuel flow.
Featuring an additional 0.532 mm of lift over a Bosch-style 180/215 camshaft, the Hyper Cam incorporates a pronounced curved lift ramp to deliver a more aggressive injection event.
A post-dwell lobe profile is designed to support longevity, making the Hyper Cam a performance-focused upgrade for serious P7100 applications.
Key Features
-
+0.532 mm additional lift over a Bosch-style 180/215 camshaft.
-
Aggressive lift ramp designed to increase injection rate and support greater fuel flow.
-
Stronger injection event through a pronounced curved ramp profile.
-
Post-dwell lobe design developed with longevity in mind.
-
Forged core construction using a proprietary modified 20NiCrMo blend.
-
Advanced surface treatment for a hard, durable lobe surface over a ductile core.
Engineered Core & Surface Treatment
Each camshaft core undergoes a detailed manufacturing process:
-
Rough-ground
-
Copper-sprayed
-
Heat-treated
-
Double vacuum-tempered
-
Finish-ground to precise tolerances
This process produces a durable lobe surface designed to provide strength and long service life.
Follower Spring Specifications
The Hyper Cam is supplied with 110 PSI follower springs, selected to provide optimal cam-follower control and help prevent roller float in high-RPM applications.
Application: Cummins 12V P7100 injection pump
